1 Eligibility to Use Our Platform

Use of the Grihasree platform is available only to persons who can legally enter into contracts under applicable laws. Persons who are "incompetent to contract" within the meaning of the Indian Contract Act, 1872 — including un-discharged insolvents — are not eligible to use the platform. Grihasree reserves the right to terminate your access if it discovers that you are under the age of 18 years or suffer from any other disability as recognised under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.

2 Account & Membership

Although it's not essential to have an account to browse Grihasree, certain features require registration. As a member, you agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete information about yourself as prompted by the registration form. Registration where prohibited under any law shall be void.

Grihasree reserves the right to revoke or terminate your registration for any reason at any time, without notice. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3 Electronic Communications

When you use the Grihasree platform or send emails or other data or information to us, you agree and understand that you are communicating with us electronically and give your consent to receive communications electronically from us periodically, when required. This includes service updates, booking confirmations, promotional messages (where consented), and support correspondence.

4 Reviews, Feedback & Submissions

All reviews, comments, feedback, suggestions, ideas, and other submissions disclosed or submitted to Grihasree directly or in connection with your use of this platform (collectively referred to as "Comments") will remain Grihasree's property. Such submission shall constitute an assignment to Grihasree of all worldwide rights, titles and interests in all copyrights and other intellectual properties in the Comments.

Grihasree will be entitled to use, reproduce, disclose, modify, adapt, create derivative works from, publish, display and distribute any Comments you submit for any purpose, without restriction and without compensating you in any way. Grihasree is under no obligation to (1) maintain any Comments in confidence; (2) pay you any compensation for any Comments; or (3) respond to any Comments.

5 Accuracy of Content & Service Information

While Grihasree strives to provide accurate service and pricing information, typographical or technical errors may occasionally occur. In the event that a service is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information, Grihasree shall have the right, at its sole discretion, to modify the price or information, or to refuse or cancel any bookings placed for that service — unless the service has already been confirmed and the professional has been dispatched.

All information, content, materials, and services provided on the Grihasree platform are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

6 Use of the Platform

You agree to use Grihasree only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• ✗ Use the platform in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations
• ✗ Transmit any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material (spam)
• ✗ Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or its related systems
• ✗ Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
• ✗ Engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use or enjoyment of the platform

7 Bookings & Payments

• ✓ Booking Confirmation: A booking is confirmed only after you receive a confirmation notification from Grihasree
• ✓ Payment Security: All payments are processed securely through our authorised payment partners
• ✓ Cancellations & Refunds: Cancellation and refund policies are as detailed in the app at the time of booking
• ✓ Pricing: Grihasree reserves the right to modify service pricing at any time without prior notice

8 Intellectual Property

All content on the Grihasree platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, and software, is the property of Grihasree Technologies and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Unauthorised use of any content from this platform may violate copyright, trademark, and other laws.

You may not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of the platform without the express written permission of Grihasree Technologies.

9 Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

Grihasree provides the platform and services on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Grihasree disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Grihasree shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the platform or services. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the service in question.

10 Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kerala, India.

We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any issues before pursuing formal legal action. We are committed to addressing your concerns promptly and fairly.

Grihasree reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the platform following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms. We recommend reviewing these terms periodically.
